…this blog? yes i know i have 12 followers, but i do not have vary many hits/day, and not many comments. i also see that people ‘like’ when i post links to each entry every day, but does that mean they actually READ each entry (i do know that one person actually takes the time to go and like each post on the actual page – for that i am grateful)?
am i writing this blog just for me, or do i have an audience, who consider it worthwhile? no human being exists in a vacuum, in fact in vacuum we implode – our brains are boiled to hardened charcoal, and we die. to me blogging is like having a conversation with people. and at the moment i feel like i am talking to either thin air or to a wall. i want to influence people, i want to have people think, and respond to what i say – and right now i am pretty sure that apart from one single reader, no one cares.

Dov, it is difficult for me, as you know, to find the time….every time I’ve ever started a blog, despite your loyalty to reading it, I have had to let them fall by the wayside.
It doesn’t mean I value you less, but that it is often easier for me to “log in to one place” and hit and run post (like FB) because of my lack of time.
I am sorry that I AM failing you in this, as I know I am, and am also giving excuse (reason?) for it. I do need a reminder now and then, as it isn’t part of my “normal routine” and so falls out of my comfort zone (not in reading YOUR posts, but in reading any blogs).

I try to read each one & comment when I have something useful, pertinent, or even words in my noggin at the time. But, I do read & ponder each post I see here.

i love you, Mike and Daph – and you are not the problem – i know you two what you can – the problem is that so many others, hit ‘like’ on routine, but don’t comment or like on the actual blog post. if i could see the traffic rise in proportion to the number of readers and likes on FB.

I am reading your blog…all of your cups, so to speak. I almost always have a comment to add, but I don’t manage to find the right way to say what I want very quickly so I usually end up moving on to your next post without giving you anything in return. I am reading, and I am learning, and I share many of your struggles. thank you.
